Thanks for checking back at my website which has been down for a while

On the 20th of June 2020 I was taken into the RVI in Newcastle with Hypothermia after being unwell for a few weeks and no-one could find out what was wrong with me. After two days of tests and after seeing over a dozen different consultants and medical teams, I was given the news that I only had a few weeks to live unless I started immediate treatment and therefore, I agreed to a long term admittance to the hospital. I was in hospital for exactly six weeks.

The consultants and medical experts discovered that I had severe heart disease that had taken hold of me. I had never suffered from any heart problems and so this was quite a shock. It was the last thing that I suspected. The name for this disease is "Endocarditis", which had also caused an early onset of Alzheimers whilst in my blood stream and I was on the verge of a major heart attack, within days, that I was unlikely to recover from if I had remained at home for much longer. It was the distinct memory loss that had alerted me to the fact that something was very wrong with me and I suffered for a few weeks beforehand at home with "flu like" symptoms which resulted in hypothermia.

Endocarditis basically eats away at your heart from within and my white blood cells were unable to see the infection or eradicate it and therefore I was put on life saving combination drug therapy immediately, isolated from the public because any common bugs could kill me by making the Endocarditis stronger and I received four weeks of intense intravenous treatment for 5 hours every single day to try and eradicate the infection. Unfortunately this was only partly successful and on Monday 20th of July after 30 days in hospital, in the early hours I suffered a heart attack at the RVI and was transferred, the same day, to the Freeman Hospital for emergency open heart surgery. As you can see by the picture above. I have had extensive heart surgery and it will take quite some time to recover from this operation. A heart attack was inevitable if I was at home and a likely outcome in hospital so I was very fortunate to have the heart attack whilst under 24/7 supervision. I would have died otherwise.

I am now home, after being in hospital for six weeks but I won't be seeing anyone for quite some time sorry. It's unlikely that I will be back before the end of this year. I need complete rest for two months and I can't take any risks incase the disease returns to my system. This disease was never contagious and no clients could catch it from me. I was susceptible to the infection from my genetic structure and it only affects 4 in 100,000 people in this country. It's RARE.
